American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) Early Career Members

AACPDM offers several opportunities specifically for members early in their careers:

  • Reduced membership rates for Student Members who transition to Fellow Member status;
  • Access to the Advisor Support program;
  • Networking opportunities during the Annual Meeting created to encourage early career Members to connect with Senior Members and other meeting attendees (e.g., Early Career "Meet-and-Greet," Welcome Reception, and more);
  • Opportunities for junior leadership positions within AACPDM Committees and the Board of Directors. Additionally, Student Members are encouraged to join any Committees, as most of them have active student participation. Many engaged Student Members have successfully transitioned into leadership roles within these committees and the Academy!
  • Educational Content developed specifically with early career clinicians and researchers in mind (e.g., Spring Symposium, Webinars, Annual Meeting sessions, and more);
  • New Student Member webinars hosted by the Membership Committee; and
  • The AACPDM Emerging Leaders Program - A new member program designed to support early career Members to develop their leadership skills by connecting with senior AACPDM members.
