AACPDM annual meeting

American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) FAQs

Networking Gala

Attendees are encouraged to walk to the Gala if able (0.3 mile walk). The full name and address of the Armory is Voltigeurs de Québec Armoury located at 805 Wilfrid-Laurier Ave, Québec City, Quebec G1R 2L3, Canada. There is a map located on the "Maps" page of the mobile app.

For those unable to walk to the Gala, a wheelchair accessible minibus is available, shuttling guests from the convention center to the Armory between 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The minibus will pick up from the Armory at 11:30 PM to return attendees to the convention center. The minibus can be identified with the name, "Minibus Paquin Inc." and has big wheelchair signs on each side. Space on the minibus is very limited.

Please find an AACPDM Staff member if you are having difficulty navigating how to get the the gala or finding the minibus. AACPDM staff members will be outside and along the route to help guide attendees to the Armory.

No, unfortunately ticket sales closed on September 30th to accommodate the caterer's need for advanced orders. Tickets are no longer available for purchase.

You can notify AACPDM staff at the registration desk that you can no longer attend the Networking Gala and they will donate it to an attendee in need of one. Refunds will not be given to donated tickets.

Mobile App

Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play and search for AACPDM Events. Install and open the event app. Find your event in the Upcoming Events (bottom row). Tap the Annual Meeting icon.
To login, select "Create Account" and enter the event code AACPDM2024. Then, type your name and email address. If you already have an account, select "Login" and enter your username (i.e. your email address) and password.
*Please note: if you still have the app downloaded on your device from a previous year, we recommend you delete it and re-download it to avoid glitches

Although it is the same app as last year, it will operate best if you deleted and re-downloaded the app so the proper updates can be made.

Interactive Agenda- this is where you can view the in-app program and save sessions to your "My Schedule".
Happening Now- will show all sessions that are currently be presented at that moment.
My Schedule- this will show any of the sessions you saved (i.e. starred) while viewing the Interactive Agenda.
PDF Program- displays the PDF program that is avaiable on our website and avaiable in a physical form in the registration area.

The two most common errors are Wi-Fi connection, or the app is remembering data from a previous year you attended. Please ensure you are connected to the best Wi-Fi source (i.e. if you are at the hotel, use the hotel Wi-Fi. If you are in the convention center, connect to the convention center Wi-Fi). If your app is loading slowly or keeps crashing, it could be because it needs updating. In this case, we recommend removing/deleting the app entirely and re-downloading it.
